Project Description
This project, completed at Swinburne, focused on developing a campaign to address an Australian wellbeing issue. The challenge: Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers, and if every eligible woman gets her five-year screening, Australia could be the first country to eliminate the disease entirely. My mission was to create a campaign that would smash pap smear stigma and encourage routine screening. The approach: I developed Cervive, an awareness campaign with the tagline “Take 5... Five minutes of your day for five years of your life,” turning embarrassment into solidarity. The result: The project contributed to my win in the Interact category at the Design Institute of Australia’s 2023 Graduate of the Year Awards. Cervive amplified my mission to create change—one pap smear at a time.
